Caring for you at home
We have a team of 8 specialist community nurses who care for patients in their own homes. They offer help with pain and symptom management as well as emotional, spiritual and practical support. Our community nurses are headed up by team manager, Angela Jones.
24-hour care
Our bedded unit (opened in 2005) means we can provide round-the-clock care to those in our community most in need. The unit is staffed by a team of doctors, nurses and a consultant who aim to provide the best possible care.
Day Hospice
Many patients enjoy coming to the hospice for part of, or the whole day. This can include coming in for complementary therapies such as massage, aromatherapy or reflexology. Day Hospice is an opportunity to meet and talk to others in a similar situation and experience feelings of being supported and understood.
Emotional & Spiritual Support
At the hospice we offer support to those affected by life-threatening illnesses and their families. The range of help includes one-to-one counselling for adults and children, self-help techniques, group support, spiritual support and healing.
