UK National Sandcastle Competition

Back for its 16th year and helping North Devon Hospice to celebrate it's 25th Birthday we extend a warm welcome to join us on Woolacombe Beach on Sunday 12th July!

Held by kind permission of Parkin Estates and supported by Heart FM, Dartington Crystal and The Captain's Table this is a traditional day on the beach with a 'twist'...you get to watch sandsculptures take shape, moulded by teams of 6 in just 3 hours!

Digging will start at 1.00pm promptly and jusdges will be making their decisions at 4.30pm - will their favourites be yours?

ARTICULTURE will also be joining us to demonstrate how the professionals do it - don't worry they won't be part of the competition! 

If you and your friends, family or colleagues are feeling creative then why not put a team together and have a go yourself. Team entry is £100 for a team of 6 (sorry, over 16's only).  Download your application form here!
