James Duckett Master Class
Chef James Duckett is offering just 30 people the chance to learn the culinary skills and secrets that go into creating top-class food.
The master class takes place at Petroc in their specially-designed teaching kitchens and will raise money for North Devon Hospice. James, who owns the fabulous Old Custom House on The Strand has trained under several top chefs around the world!
The 30 'students' will watch James prepare every step of the following menu and have the oppoorunity to sample a little of each course too.
Menu: -
- Creamed Hallwood Farm Cauliflower With seared Devon scallops, chestnuts and beurre noisette
- Pot Roast of Lane End Farm Chicken With a Winkleigh cider and sage sauce, creamed parsnips and braised leeks
- Classic Tarte Tatin With Calvedos ice cream.
Petroc have kindly donated the use of their kitchens for the day and there will be tea and coffee available during the day which runs from 5.00pm until 9.00pm. Breaks have been included for tasting and teas/coffees.
Tickets cost £65.00 per person.
