Join us on Sunday 1st March 2015 for a sponsored walk along the Tarka Trail - or our brand new route, a 6-mile scenic circular walk from Bude Rugby Club. Depending on the route you choose, you'll finish at either Barnstaple, Bideford or Bude Rugby Clubs to watch the crunch Ireland v England Six Nations game on big screens. You'll also get a free pasty, free cuppa and a free pint to complete this ultimate boys day out!

Those taking part in ManTrak at Bude will be supporting our Long House Appeal, to build a new hospice facility in nearby Holsworthy. This will benefit many hundreds of people in the vast surrounding area.

As you can see above, we have tweaked the event name and branding, to better reflect what this amazing day is all about. Registration will open soon, and you will be able to sign up online via this page.

- Barnstaple to Bideford: An 11-mile walk starting at Barnstaple Rugby Clubhouse and following the Tarka Trail, finishing at Bideford Rugby Club
- Bideford to Barnstaple: Exactly the same route, but in reverse, finishing at Barnstaple Rugby Clubhouse
- Instow to Barnstaple: A 7 mile walk starting at Instow Yacht Club and finishing at Barnstaple Rugby Club
- NEW FOR 2015 - Bude Rugby Club, 6-mile scenic circular walk

Pasty image for web On the Tarka Trail routes, you will be treated to a free cuppa and a free delicious hot pasty, courtesy of Blackwells of Bideford. There will be live musical entertainment provided at Fremington Quay. For those doing the Bude route, you will also be treated to a free cuppa and free pasty to give you fuel for your walk!

Pint image for web Having walked all those miles, you'll be welcomed at the finish line with a well-earned free pint (courtesy of St Austell Brewery and Countrylife Brewery). Your free pint can be claimed at your finishing point, so you can sup up before enjoying the game (a soft option will also be available should you so wish).
Rugby image for web At all three rugby clubs, you can enjoy the Ireland v England Six Nations match on a number of big screens (3pm KO), enjoying the big game atmosphere with hundreds of fellow Man Trakkers. The bars will be open throughout the day, and hot food will also be available to purchase, so you can really make a day of it!
Small Print image for web All walkers must be 16 years or over. Please choose your route (11-mile, 7-mile, or 6-mile) carefully, as it could be a cold Spring day and we want to make sure you complete the walk comfortably. ManTrak is a sponsored walk in aid of North Devon Hospice and we would love each walker to raise as much as possible (or make a donation towards the cause). There are many ways in which you can raise funds, including putting on your own small fundraising event to raise money (such as a quiz in your local), or you might fancy getting a company team together and raising funds (perhaps with the backing of your employer). When you register, we'll send you lots of fundraising tips and ideas to make it easier. By signing up to ManTrak, you are also confirming that you are fit and healthy enough to take part in the event and have no medical conditions that prevent your participation. If you have any questions, please call Gerard Fawcitt on 01271 347224 or email
