The North Devon AONB Marathon

Congratulations to all runners!

..and THANK YOU for making it such a fantastic day.  The North Devon AONB Marathon was the inaugural of what we intend to be a yearly, and popular fundraising event for North Devon Hospice.  Organised by Simon Oliver from St John's Garden Centre, and our very own Ali Hunt (Head of Fundraising at North Devon Hospice) the challenging fell-running marathon was supported by reems of sponsors, including Red Barn, the AONB and the National Trust.

This absolutely stunning day was a real success, and our runners amazing!  We were delighted to see an incredible display of fitness and determination, which, in the heat of the day and on this particularly tough route, was nothing short of admirable.

We would like to congratulate all runners, especially winners, and those who made the most of this spectacular route to celebrate their 100th marathon!
