Care Home Forum Meetings

Helping care home staff provide the best care for those nearing the end of life

Care Home Forum Meetings are a way of pooling the expertise of the hospice with care homes in the area. We meet to share best practice, look at training needs and think of ways to improve the care of those nearing the end of life.

The quarterly Care Home Forum meetings held at North Devon Hospice have, in the past, been intended for staff from nursing and residential homes.  We would now like to invite staff from domiciliary care and other community healthcare services to join us and share in these valuable networking and learning occasions.

Each forum focuses on a particular topic relating to palliative and end of life care and the 2017 dates are as follows:

  • Tuesday 14th February
  • Tuesday 16th May
  • Tuesday 19th September¬†
  • Tuesday 5th December

All meetings will take place in the Oak Room at North Devon Hospice from 2pm - 4pm.
