Being there to facilitate learning
In partnership, we have brought educational opportunities in end-of-life care to health and social care providers working across North Devon, completely free of charge.
We believe in making a difference by sharing specialist knowledge and skills. For the benefit of every person touched by a life-limiting illness, we aim to promote the best possible end-of-life care in every care setting.
Please click on one of the links below to see the courses we have available:
We operate a refundable booking fee of £25.00 per course. Once you have booked online, please send a cheque for £25.00 per person per course, made payable to North Devon Hospice. Your cheque(s) will be returned to you at the relevant study days. Cheques will only be cashed if 24-hour notice is not received by the Education Department that you are unable to attend. If you have not sent a cheque prior to the course and do not attend, we will issue an invoice for £25 to you after the study day.
If you need to discuss education further please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Hospice Education Team below:

My Athens online library
Hospice staff are eligible for an account on the My Athens online resource site. Accounts are personal, rather than institutional, so each member of staff will need to follow this link and apply for an account.
Once registered, staff will be able to access a whole host of information, research and online journals.
