Education

Education is a vital part of the work of North Devon Hospice. One of our primary aims is to help health care professionals to better care for those with cancer and other serious illnesses.

To completely achieve our objectives, we have a group of people dedicated to delivering the highest quality of education is an integral part of the services on offer both internally and the community and beyond.

To do this we work closely with our local NHS trusts, other hospices, private care providers and the University of Plymouth. We also provide a great deal of informal education and advice on a day-to-day basis in the local community.

Last year we provided over 90 training and education days for the benefit of staff, health and social care professionals, students and volunteers.
