Gifts in wills
Without people leaving gifts in their wills, the North Devon Hospice would not exist. Last year over a third of our income came from generous legacy donations.
It is still one of the easier and best ways to support the hospice to ensure it is here to serve North Devon for years to come.
The hospice has teamed up with almost every solicitor's office in North Devon to offer a free will writing service. This means you can write your will, it wont cost you a penny and you are under no obligation to leave a bequest to the hospice. For more information or an informal chat, please contact Hugh Thompson at the hospice.
There are various ways of leaving a gift in your will.
A gift of money - Many people find this the easiest way of leaving a gift.
A share of your estate - This is the most valuable gift of all because its value is not affected by inflation.
An item of property - You can also decide to leave specific items such as your home, car, jewellery or even stocks and shares.
