Volunteering

Giving your time to make a difference

Volunteers are at the heart of what we do here at the hospice, more than 500 people give their time to help us provide care and support to the people of North Devon. It’s their skills, passion and constant dedication that makes our hospice so special. Our volunteers have various motivations for giving their time; to meet new people, develop skills, or simply to give something back after a personal experience. Whatever the reason, we are incredibly grateful and couldn’t do all that we do without them. There are so many different volunteering opportunities to get involved with, from fundraising to driving patients to appointments, helping in our charity shops to sitting with patients in their own homes and many more. There really is something for everyone. If you are interested in becoming part of an incredible, team take a look at our current vacancies on the Working for North Devon Hospice page or get in touch.
