National policy and research continues to emphasise the importance of effective communication skills for health and social care professionals and the impact this has on the person experiencing care.
This well evaluated, 2 day experiential course explores challenging communication issues from the participant’s practice. The approach to learning is interactive and uses video. Facilitators guide and support the participant through the process to ensure everyone feels safe.
Develop confidence in opening and maintaining a conversation at end of life which facilitates the person to make their own decisions and plans, whilst knowing how best to respond to unexpected questions.
