Barnstaple Furniture Shop & Logistics Manager

Barnstaple Furniture Shop and Logistics Manager 37.5 hours per week, £30,700 pa

As the Barnstaple Furniture Shop and Logistics Manager you will lead our Furniture Shop Team and our newly centralized Retail Logistics service.  Your role will drive income across retail by providing an exceptional collection and delivery service to all our supporters, customers, trading locations and waste partners. You will be experienced in managing teams and ideally, will have experience of working in logistics and charity retail, in a furniture environment.  You need to be flexible, adaptable and positive.  If you are hard-working, positive and enthusiastic, this role could be for you!  To join our Retail Team, you will:-

  • Have a full, clean driving licence
  • Be a great communicator
  • Have experience in managing teams
  • Have a positive, creative, flexible approach to work
  • Be committed to helping every location to achieve its targets, whilst maintain health and safety and our standard operating procedures
  • Be able to move heavy loads daily including furniture.
  • Promote the wider work of the hospice

The posts are subject to an Enhanced level check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
