NDH Britain in Bloom Garden Volunteer

Gardens are a crucial part of everyone’s health and wellbeing and we are delighted to be taking part in RHS Britain in Bloom for the first time and bringing more life, colour and energy into Barnstaple for everyone to enjoy, and benefit from, and you can be a part of it by helping to maintain the NDH Britain in Bloom flowerbed in Barnstaple.

You will be undertaking general flowerbed maintenance such as watering & feeding plants, hand weeding,  deadheading, mulching, pruning, removal of annual bedding plants and the replanting of bedding plants.  Ensuring the site is kept free of debris and looks its best.  You will be unsupervised and will be required to maintain all health & safety aspects of being a lone worker.  Guidance will be given but prior knowledge of gardening would be an advantage although not essential.
