Full-time, working hours Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm (1 hour unpaid break per day)
We are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, forward thinking first level registered nurse to join our team of Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialists. You will support patients and their families predominantly in the community. You will need to have substantial post registration experience and experience in delivering palliative care.
An ability to prescribe is desirable for the role, although full training will be provided if you are not already prescribing. You will be able to demonstrate experience of caseload management in a community setting together with a willingness to undertake further training. You will need to be able to practice independently and demonstrate a knowledge and application of best practice in palliative care.
For candidates who are not experienced in specialist palliative care, there will be a tailored induction and training programme to support their needs.
