Housekeeping Assistant (10.8 hours per week)

Do you want to join a small friendly team of housekeepers in your local Hospice?

We’re looking for housekeepers to join our team who will play a vital role in ensuring that the Hospice is a clean, welcoming and homely environment for our patients and visitors.

If you’re hardworking, flexible and are able to work on your own or as part of a team, you could be just what we’re looking for.

This is a varied role and will include cleaning our Bedded Unit, Offices and Café and undertaking laundry duties.  Uniform and full training on our cleaning equipment will be provided. 

Salary: £16,213.13 - 16,375.25 per annum pro rata, plus enhancements for weekends and public holidays (actual salary £4,669.38 - £4,716.07 per annum)

Part-time, average of 10.8 hours per week to be worked Week 1 – Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm – 8:30pm, Week 2 – Thursday and Friday 4:30pm – 8:30pm; plus 1 in 5 alternate Saturday and Sunday 10.00am – 2.00pm. Additional hours will be required to cover absences.
