Bank Medical Officer

North Devon Hospice is seeking to recruit a doctor to join our team of Medical Officers based on our Inpatient Unit. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a doctor who wishes to build their experience, and enhance their knowledge and skills in palliative medicine, caring for patients with a wide range of cancer and non-cancer life-limiting conditions.

This post would be ideal as part of a long-term portfolio career alongside General Practice, or another relevant clinical specialty.  Duties will involve day time, weekend and out of hours cover as and when required.

Sessions: Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm/1pm to 5pm, evening on call 5pm – 9am, weekend on call Friday 5pm to Monday 9am

Rates of Pay:

  • Weekday sessions £163.98
  • Night sessions on call £163.98
  • Weekends on call £704.44

This position is subject to an enhanced level check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
