6 month fixed term contract
Salary: £17,700 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £7,080 per annum)
Part-time, 15 hours per week, hours to be worked flexibly over 2 days per week, Monday to Sunday, 8.45am to 4.45pm. (1/2 hour unpaid lunch break). Additional hours may be required to cover any absences.
The hospice has 12 retail outlets across North Devon; these outlets play an important role in raising funds to support the essential care we provide to the local community and last year contributed in excess of £1.4m income.
We are looking for two part-time Retail Assistants to join our friendly team in our Ilfracombe shop. The role will include assisting the Shop Manager in the smooth running of the shop, maximising sales and profit, positively promoting awareness of the hospice and managing a team of volunteers in the absence of the Shop Manager. The role requires an individual with exceptional communication, people and customer service skills. Experience in a retail environment is essential.
