We are in urgent need of support at our Ilfracombe shop, particularly to process sales and take payments using our electronic till system. Attention to detail is essential and full training will be given prior to commencing your role and you will be provided with the necessary PPE. The many benefits include meeting new people, learning new skills or utilising existing skills, and becoming part of our fantastic retail team.
Our retail volunteers provide vital support for our shop managers, helping to raise much needed funds, which is as important now as it’s ever been, so the Hospice can continue to offer outstanding care & support to patients with life limited illnesses and their loved ones. Our retail volunteers provide an invaluable service that we couldn't be without!
You don’t need any experience to volunteer with us as we will provide free training for you to fulfil your role. Willingness to work as part of a team and reliability are key along with a good sense of humour and bundles of enthusiasm.

We will never sell your data however we are obliged by law to inform you that should we be required to we may share your data with external agencies. This may include but is not limited to Acevo / UCheck (a service for managing and processing Disclosure & Barring Service clearance applications) and other government agencies. We will also, as required, contact those individuals named as your referees to confirm your suitability for the role(s) you are applying for. If your application is unsuccessful we will retain your information for 12 months; after this date it will be safely destroyed.
