Our incredible Fundraising team are busy all year round supporting community fundraising events as well as hosting several 'BIG' events during the year. After the hugely successful Nightwalk the team are now in full preparation mode for another hugely popular event later in the year; Mission Unbreakable.
These events would not be possible without an army of volunteers tirelessly giving up their time to assist in all manor of ways. Perhaps you already support the hospice and could offer some additional time or know someone who might like to help but is unable to commit to a regular weekly/monthly commitment, we would love to hear from you. Throughout the year there are numerous events where additional help and support is required so please contact Sue in the Volunteer Office and you will be put in touch with one of the Fundraising team who coordinates these events.
We are particularly seeking help with Mission Unbreakable. To be held on Sunday 13th October at North Molton. Details of how you can get involved in this event as a volunteer are below:
- Marshalling on the course/obstacle – Approximate time required between 8am – 4pm (depends on which obstacle and where on the course as to how early they will need to arrive)
- Car Park Marshalls – throughout the day – (2 hour slots to control the flow of cars in and out of the car parking field) 8.30am – 4.30pm
- Baggage Marshall – overseeing participants bags in the baggage area of the sports hall 9am – 4pm
