Raffle raises funds for the hospice and raises smiles for the winners
This year's hospice Big Raffle raised valuable funds, and raised more than a smile for the three lucky prize winners.
Mrs Davies, from Braunton, was the first name out of the hat and scooped the £5,000 top prize.
The second prize of dinner, bed and breakfast for two and the sumptuous Kentisbury Grange was won by Debbie Dunkley. Debbie lives in Launceston so will have a wonderful excuse to enjoy a visit to North Devon.
The third prize of £250 goes to Mr Callaghan of Fremington.
Huge thanks go to all those who supported The Big Raffle by buying tickets. Your generosity means we were able to raise over £25,000 for North Devon Hospice. This will make a huge difference to the patients and families we support each and every day right across the area.
Our gratitude also goes to local law firm Brewer Harding & Rowe, who were the sponsors of this year's raffle.
Winning tickets were drawn out of the hat by staff at Banbury's, where the final day of tickets sales took place. Megan Holding and Katrina Baxter helped hospice volunteers Sue and Graham Kingsbury complete the draw.
