From 7th - 13th October we'll be looking at what it takes to make our local hospice care possible
We’re joining with hospices up and down the country this week to celebrate #HospiceCareWeek.
The theme this year is #ThisIsWhatItTakes and we’ll be raising awareness throughout the week of some of the many different aspects of our work (and your support) that collectively helps us provide care to our patients and their families facing a life limiting illness.
Whether it’s jumping from a plane, carrying out an event on our behalf, volunteering time, donating an item for us to sell in one of our charity shops, maintaining our gardens, cooking for our patients, travelling across North Devon to visit a patient, offering bereavement support to a family or cleaning one of our patient bedrooms – these are just a few of the many different ways that people combine in a remarkable way each day to ensure we are able to care for nearly 3,000 patients and their families each and every year.
Check out some of the content we'll be sharing...
Visit our news pages throughout the week or follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter as we focus on some of the ways our work continues to support patients.
