Our Nightwalk has returned for 2024 and we need your help to make sure it runs smoothly!
We’re looking for volunteers to help us run the event on 11th May 2024 and support the future success of North Devon Hospice.
What’s in it for you? A fun-packed night of 80s nostalgia, where you’ll get to cheer on participants, make incredible memories and support an amazing cause that’s provided 40 years of care in North Devon. By working with North Devon Hospice, you’ll help to ensure that in everyone’s life story, the ending will matter.
- What is Nightwalk?
The annual Nightwalk is a women-only sponsored walking challenge, bringing you music, lights and an unforgettable 80s party atmosphere. However, we also welcome male volunteers to join us on the night and get involved with the fun! Volunteers will be based on a choice of routes between Barnstaple, Bideford and Instow, supporting North Devon Hospice and participants who are fundraising.
- What positions are available for volunteers?
When you sign up for Nightwalk there are lots of positions along the trail that will need a friendly marshal! We will allocate you a position. If there is an area you would prefer please let us know and we will do our best to get you in that area.
From greeting participants in the registration areas to handing out refreshments on the track, you’ll have the chance to soak in the atmosphere of the event. We also strongly encourage you to don your best 80s fancy dress – think Boy George, Madonna, Ghostbusters…the options are endless!
