Could your next clinical challenge be one where you have the time to truly care? At North Devon Hospice, we believe everyone has a story - and the ending matters. We’re looking for Bank Specialty Doctors to join our small, expert medical team providing specialist palliative care across North Devon.
This is an opportunity to:
• Make a real difference to patients and families at an important time in their lives
• Care for people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting conditions
• Work within a supportive, experienced multidisciplinary team
• Develop your skills and experience in palliative medicine
• Complement your existing GP, hospital or portfolio career
• Enjoy the time and space to provide person-centred, meaningful care
You’ll provide medical cover for our 7-bed inpatient unit, support our community teams and contribute to our 24/7 first-on-call service. You’ll have access to 24hr second on-call Palliative Medicine Consultant support. Full induction and shadowing opportunities are provided.
£198 per day-time session | £956 per weekend on call
