Retail Driver/Sales Assistant – Two Rivers Warehouse/Barnstaple Furniture Shop
15 hours per week to be worked flexibly over 7 days between 8.00am – 4.00pm
Monday to Sunday
£25,800 per year pro rata. Actual salary £10,300 per year

As a Retail Driver/Sales Assistant, your role is to deliver an exceptional service to our donors, supporters, and customers. Your days will be fast paced and varied; out delivering or collecting furniture donations, greeting and serving our customers in our furniture shop, sorting the incredible donations, pricing, and steaming, all while working alongside our amazing volunteer team members.

Your flexibility and adaptability are key. 

If you are hard-working, calm and enthusiastic, this role could be for you!

The skills required to succeed in this role include:

  • A confident manner and ability to be genuine
  • Great communication skills and be friendly, calm, kind and efficient – even on your busiest days
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy and IT skills
  • Experience of driving a 3.5t vehicle for business
  • Experience of working within a customer care environment
  • The ability to follow procedures
  • The capability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Tactfulness, kindness and able to be diplomatic
  • Motivation and be capable of using initiative
  • General good health and physical fitness - must be able to lift heavy loads daily
