Volunteer Drivers Mate - Barnstaple Furniture Shop

Supporting our drivers with furniture collections and deliveries across North Devon, you'll help keep stock moving efficiently while meeting new people and being a friendly face of the hospice. No two days are the same, from uncovering hidden gems and hearing the unique stories behind donated items to working alongside our fun and welcoming team of hospice drivers.

What we’re looking for:
We're looking for someone with a friendly, can-do attitude who is happy to get stuck in and enjoys meeting new people. You'll have good communication skills, be compassionate and sensitive in difficult situations, and genuinely want to brighten someone's day. As the role involves frequent heavy lifting, a good level of physical fitness is important, along with flexibility and reliability.

No experience needed – just a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a smile that goes the extra mile!

Hours available:
Van shifts are available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Please note that all van shifts are full-day shifts and include a lunch break.
