There’s a lot that happens between a donated item arriving with us and finding its new home. Once one of our pre-loved treasures has sold online, we need a little help making sure it completes the final part of its journey safely.
As a Volunteer Packaging Assistant, you’ll help carefully and securely package items ready for shipping to customers across the UK and beyond.
What will you be doing?
You’ll play an important role in helping us get online sales safely on their way to their new homes. This includes carefully packaging items sold through our online platforms, making sure each parcel is secure and well protected for its journey. Full training will be provided on our packaging guidelines, and you’ll also help keep the workspace clean, organised and safe. From time to time, you may support the team with other suitable tasks, all while representing North Devon Hospice in a positive and professional way.
No previous experience? No problem. Full training will be provided, and we’ll arrange a taster session so you can see what the role involves before getting started.
Hours available:
We are currently looking for volunteers to support our team on Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday afternoons. Whether you can offer one afternoon a week or more, we’d love to hear from you.
