Volunteer Researcher - Retail

Your research and desire to help us uncover hidden gems among our donations, will help us identify valuable pieces that can raise vital funds for hospice care.

What you’ll be doing:
You will be Researching donated items using online tools such as Google, eBay and specialist websites, helping to identify unique and valuable finds, handle donations with care and support accurate pricing to ensure items stand out in the marketplace.

What we are looking for:
Experience in using basic computer systems is helpful, along with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to discover the stories behind donated items. One day you could be researching the origins of an antique sewing machine and the next investigating a laboratory-grade microscope. Full training and support in the use of digital devices and online research tools will be provided.

Hours available:
Monday - Morning
Tuesday – Morning or Afternoon
Wednesday – Morning or Afternoon
Friday – Morning or Afternoon
