Our charity shop in Barnstaple high street is a vibrant, community hub where every customer and volunteer helps us raise funds that provide vital hospice care for local families.

What are we looking for?
We’re looking for Retail Volunteers who can bring smiles and a sprinkle of fun to our charity shops, along with a helpful attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to get stuck in!
Retail experience? Great! No experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

What might you be doing?
You'll be chatting with customers, sorting donations, steaming clothes, pricing hidden treasures and working on the till, all while helping to keep the shop looking its best, running smoothly and buzzing with activity!

What do we need from you?
We're looking for someone with a friendly, can-do attitude who enjoys helping customers, is reliable and able to commit to their agreed shift, is happy to learn new skills through our full training programme, works well as part of a team, helps keep the shop tidy and welcoming, and shares our passion for supporting the hospice's values and mission.

Hours available:
We're currently looking for volunteers who can help during either our morning or afternoon shifts on:
• Monday
• Tuesday
• Friday
• Saturday
• Sunday

A taster session will be arranged once we receive your completed application, giving you the opportunity to meet the team, see the shop in action and get a feel for the role.
