Waggy Tails Meadow 1

Waggy Tails Meadow is the perfect way to spend quality time with your pooch while helping to support patients and families at the hospice.

A brand-new dog field has opened in Barnstaple to help local pet owners and dog walkers enjoy precious time with their pooches.

Nestled in a peaceful valley, surrounded by trees and beautiful views overlooking the manicured grounds of neighbours, North Devon Hospice, is Waggy Tails Meadow – a secure dog field boasting 5 acres of mixed terrain for fast running, multiple-piece agility equipment, and ample off-road parking, all close to Barnstaple town centre.

Whether you’re looking to burn some energy with an energetic canine or enjoy relaxed walking with an anxious dog needing space, Waggy Tail Meadow is the perfect place to go. With vast amounts of space to explore, this long-awaited new addition to the heart of Barnstaple is perfect for pets and working dogs alike.

Waggy Tails Meadow can cater for up to 4 dogs per session and is open 7 days a week, all year round (times vary depending on season). The field is completely ‘doggy-proof’ with 6ft secure fences around the perimeter and a sturdy locked gate, with a unique code supplied when a booking is made online. Everything has been thought of to make sure your experience when using Waggy Tails Meadow is as pleasurable as possible for both you and your four-legged friends. Bookings can be made for 30 or 60 minutes, to be flexible for your needs, and can be pre-booked online at waggytailsmeadow.co.uk.

Proceeds from each booking go directly to North Devon Hospice, so you can enjoy a care-free dog walk (or run!) knowing you’re helping to provide vital care to patients and families across North Devon.

So, listen to your Labrador, do it for your Daschund, and obey your old English sheepdog! Book your session online today to check out this brand new dog-walking field in Barnstaple.
