Lending a hand at events or in the events office
Volunteering with our fundraising team can be a really fun and sociable way to lend a hand, get involved in the community and help the hospice at the same time.
Our fundraising team are always busy putting on events, organising the distribution of collection boxes and doing bucket collections; all with the aim of helping raise money to fund our care and support throughout North Devon.
Our volunteers give as much or as little time as they can, choosing exactly which tasks they want to get involved with. It's a buzzing office with lots of enthusiasm and laughter and we're always pleased to welcome a new face to the team.
Volunteers play an important role within the fundraising office, helping out with all sorts of behind-the-scenes tasks that need to be done in order to make the various fundraising activities a success.
If you would like to get involved in some of our large fundraising events, we are always in need of volunteers to lend a hand on the day. We run events throughout the year, and volunteers play a crucial role at every one, whether that's marshalling or manning the registration desk, helping with car parking or providing photography.
