The Care Quality Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our Quality Team and the Consultant in Palliative Medicine. The role will provide the right candidate with the opportunity to undertake a range of activities that support our quality and governance agenda such as data collation, preparing reports and supporting project work. This role also specifically includes administrative support to the Consultant such as handling medical correspondence, creating the medical team roster and arranging cover. As a member of the wider Care Administrator Team, the post holder will also contribute to cover arrangements across our teams, in particular sharing responsibility for providing administrative support for the weekly Multidisciplinary Team Meeting on a rotational basis, receiving and processing referrals and covering reception points as required.

Experience of using data systems and a knowledge of medical terminology is essential. As you will regularly liaise with a range of professionals and colleagues both at the hospice and from outside organisations, excellent communication skills are essential. You will be organised and efficient in your approach to a varied daily and weekly list of activities.,
