What are we looking for?
We’re looking for Retail Volunteers who can bring smiles and a sprinkle of fun to our charity shops, along with a helpful attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to get stuck in!
Retail experience? Great! No experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

What might you be doing?
• Chatting with customers
• Sorting donations
• Steaming clothes
• Pricing treasures
• Working the till.

What do we need from you?
• A friendly attitude and willingness to help customers
• Reliability – committing to the agreed shift and communicating any holidays to allow for cover (or take us with you!)
• Openness to learning new skills (we’ll provide full training)
• Ability to work with others and follow shop guidelines
• A positive approach to keeping the shop tidy and welcoming
• Commitment to supporting the hospice’s values and mission
Most volunteers join us for around 4 hours in the morning or afternoon, Monday to Saturday. Whether you can give one shift a week or more, we’ll work with you to find a time and place that fits your schedule.
